Gay Characters

Description

*This is referring to stereotypical characters, not real people in any way shape or form*
Most often in the community of gay stories I read on the interwebs, I notice these stereotypes A LOT and it pisses me off. I realize some people do actually fit into certain stereotypes, like my sister. Dresses like a guy, acts like a guy, total tomboy, hangs with guys, and wears a fedora (for some reason I have found fedora wearing to be a gay stereotype...). HOWEVER not everyone is the same or a stereotype, and these girls treat gay males like chicks with dicks, emo cutters, have sex after meeting once, players, abused (in the most cheesy ways possible, which would really offend people who actually are abused), or try to convert straight males. I don't want to be associated with those girls. My characters like Gabe and Charles really shouldn't be discarded because of other "Yaoi" fangirls. People aren't the same, and neither are characters. Some of my male characters just happen to like dick. Get over yourselves. This doesn't mean they are stereotypes.
I realize some people do fall into certain categories, and I don't mean to put you down in any sort of way, I'm just tired of seeing the same character elements over and over and OVER again because girls can't see past stupid stereotypes. AND FOR GODS SAKES, NOT ALL RELATIONSHIPS ARE BASED ON SEX! IF I WANTED TO READ IT, I WOULD READ 50 SHADES OF GREY. Straight or gay, I dun wanna read it.
So have a stamp if you disagree with those crazy yaoi girls.
And BTW, Yaoi fangirl does not equal gay activist. I simply have characters who are gay, because there are people who are gay (DUH), so I'm just being realistic. I find gay and straight couples cute, so I make them both. YAY. I also find puppies cute.

I know! Every same sex couple I see in Art always has a masculine character and a feminine one, they are always thinking about sex, they have the stereotypes, and one is always emo with depression?? I only found one good story with these stereotypes so far..
